About Us

We are a security services provider dedicated to ensuring the safety and protection of our clients and their assets. We are currently seeking highly qualified and responsible Armed Security Guards to patrol and secure our client's gas stations in the Southgate area.

Job Description

The Armed Security Guard will be responsible for maintaining a secure environment for our client's gas stations by patrolling the premises, monitoring activities, and deterring potential threats. The ideal candidate will possess strong situational awareness, excellent communication skills, and the ability to act swiftly and appropriately in emergency situations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Patrol Duties: Regularly patrol assigned gas station locations to monitor and secure the premises. Ensure the safety of customers, employees, and assets.
  • Incident Response: Respond promptly to alarms, disturbances, or suspicious activities. De-escalate potential conflicts and manage situations involving theft, vandalism, or other criminal activities.
  • Surveillance: Monitor security cameras and conduct visual inspections to detect and address security breaches or unsafe conditions.
  • Customer Service: Interact professionally with customers and employees. Provide assistance and support as needed while maintaining a visible security presence.
  • Reporting: Prepare detailed reports of daily activities, incidents, and any safety or security concerns. Communicate effectively with supervisors and law enforcement when necessary.
  • Compliance: Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and legal requirements, including the use of force and firearms.
Qualifications
  • Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience as an Armed Security Guard or in a similar role.
  • Licensing: Valid California Guard Card and Firearm Permit are required as well as a VALID Driver's license and CLEAN driving record. A copy of your driving record will be required.
  • Training: Completion of an accredited security training program. Knowledge of first aid, CPR, and de-escalation techniques is preferred.
  • Physical Fitness: Ability to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods. Must be able to respond quickly to emergencies.
  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to write clear and concise incident reports.
  • Dependability: Reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
