Desert Protection Group LLC is seeking a Part-Time Armed Guard to help protect people, property, and assets in a Phoenix, AZ location.

Position Summary

The Armed Guard will provide professional security services on assigned posts while maintaining a safe environment for clients, staff, and the public. This role requires alertness, sound judgment, and the ability to respond effectively to security incidents.

As an Armed Guard, the role includes monitoring and protecting designated areas, deterring prohibited activity, and ensuring compliance with site procedures and applicable laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain a visible, professional security presence and patrol assigned areas as directed

  • Monitor premises and respond to incidents, alarms, and unusual activity according to established protocols

  • Control access to facilities and verify authorization when needed

  • Write clear, timely incident and activity reports documenting observations and actions taken

  • Follow all safety procedures and maintain readiness while on duty

Required Qualifications
  • Ability to work part-time hours and reliably report for scheduled shifts

  • Strong observational skills and the ability to remain calm and effective in dynamic situations
