Job description

Excellent Opportunity for an Experienced and Disciplined Armed Security Officer.


--Opportunity for growth reaching $32 per hour with additional skills aquired.

--This position is generally 37-40 hours per week. Stable and predictable schedule.

--5 days a week Mon-Fri, 7:45 am to approximately 4 pm. or 9 am to 5 pm depending on role.

--No Coin. No heavy lifting. No 12 hour days.

--Company has been in business for 26 years.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 year law enforcement/armed security experience-No exceptions
  • Previous Armored Car Driver/Messenger exp. required. - Rare exceptions
  • Possess a PA 235 with Firearms certification-No exceptions
  • Satisfactory criminal background AND financial history
  • Ability to pass a drug screening
  • Must be able to work well as part of a team
  • Ability to read and understand route schedules
  • Good written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to read and interpret written instructions
  • Ability to repeatedly bend, squat, walk, twist, turn, and reach out
  • Be able to stand on your feet for extended periods of time as well and enter and exit vans repeatedly throughout the day
  • Be able to drive vehicle for long periods throughout day
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs properly
  • Possession of a valid driver's license with no moving violations or at fault accidents in the previous three years
  • Duties will include but not limited to:
  • Guarding partner(s) while on route (mainly armed but if not licensed in NJ or DE, unarmed)
  • Driving Company vans, armored AND unarmored
  • Completing routes as assigned in a timely manner
  • The ability to follow specific policy and safety procedures.
  • Courteous and collaborative attitude.
  • De-escalation mindset.
  • Able to consistently show up on time, ready to work and be where you are needed.
