Job description

Southwest Arkansas Regional Medical Center is a hospital dedicated to delivering high-quality healthcare to the Hope, Arkansas community and surrounding areas. We offer a full range of inpatient and outpatient diagnostic services, as well as a 24-hour emergency department, an inpatient geriatric behavioral health unit, physical therapy, inpatient pharmacy services, and a Rural Health Clinic.
Southwest Arkansas Regional Medical Center is in search of an experienced PRN Physical Therapist. The ideal candidate will be responsible for establishing short and long term functional goals for patients and discussing goals with patient/family. In this position the candidate will identify and document further patient rehabilitation potential if treatment is to continue.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • Adherence to the Standards of Practice for Physical Therapy and Code of Ethics established by the American Physical Therapy Association and Arkansas State Board of Physical Therapy.
  • Provides a positive environment for patients within the milieu, which includes all aspects of patient care activities.
  • Provides accurate data entry.
  • All other duties required or assigned by management

Education & Experience:
  • Graduate of an Accredited School of Physical Therapy with a BS, MS or DPT degree in Physical Therapy or an equivalent foreign program
  • Current Arkansas state licensure as a Registered Physical Therapist Current BLS, CPI or COAP within 90 days of hire
  • Geriatric and adolescence experience preferred
