Compensation:

Base pay is $17.85 per hour.  

*In addition to base pay, our team members also receive tips averaging approximately $5.00 per hour. Although tips can vary and are not guaranteed, our amazing customers regularly reward our team with generous gratuities for the great service and Buzz Life energy we bring every day.  Actual amounts may differ based on location, hours worked, quality of service, and customer discretion.   Average tips reflect 2025 reporting.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver the Better Buzz experience through fast, friendly, and genuine service
  • Be knowledgeable about our coffee, tea, food, and specialty drinks
  • Prepare and serve beverages and food consistently following recipe standards
  • Work all cafe positions - our baristas are cross-trained and adaptable - including working in our kitchens to make food to order
  • Keep our spaces clean, safe - always ready for guests and teammates
  • Produces proper drink and food items to standard recipe specifications.
  • Stock all necessary ingredients in accordance with each station's needs.
  • Follows health, safety and sanitation guidelines for all products and areas.
Qualifications
  • 1+ year experience in coffee, food service, or hospitality preferred
  • Passion for great coffee and exceptional guest service
  • Strong communicator with a positive, solution-oriented attitude
  • Reliable, punctual, and available for nights, weekends and holidays
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
