Job description

This role is designed for a civil engineer with 2-5 years of experience who is ready to take on greater project responsibility while continuing to grow technically and professionally. You’ll contribute to the design and execution of infrastructure and fuel system projects, work closely with multidisciplinary teams, and support project delivery from concept through completion. The position offers opportunities to build technical expertise, develop project coordination skills, and gain increasing independence under the guidance of experienced engineers and project managers.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
•    Perform design and layout tasks for fuel systems and site infrastructure, ensuring compliance with applicable codes and standards.
•    Prepare and review designs, drawings, and specifications under the direction of senior engineers.
•    Collaborate with cross-functional teams to coordinate design efforts and resolve technical issues.
•    Maintain accurate project documentation, including reports, data, and correspondence.
•    Participate in internal QA/QC processes to maintain accuracy and quality in deliverables.
•    Mentor and provide guidance to Civil Engineer 1 staff as appropriate.
•    Actively engage in continuing education to deepen technical expertise and knowledge of industry trends.
•    Utilize advanced engineering software tools, including AutoCAD Civil 3D and Bluebeam Revu, to support project designs.
 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
•    Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
•    2 years of relevant engineering experience, including exposure to project design and execution.
o    Proficient with engineering software (e.g., AutoCAD Civil 3D, Bluebeam Revu).
o    Strong understanding of civil engineering principles and applicable standards.
o    Demonstrated ability to work independently on routine tasks with guidance on complex assignments.
o    Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
o    Effective written and verbal communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
•    Possesses Engineer-In-Training (EIT) certification.
