Job description

About the Position

The Santa Cruz Warriors, official G League affiliate of the Golden State Warriors, are looking for highly motivated individuals to help supervise events at Kaiser Permanente Arena and assist the Facilities team.

This is an excellent opportunity to share your expertise while learning more about this growing sports and entertainment organization that values your initiative and dedication!

This is a part-time position based onsite in Santa Cruz, CA.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as House Manager for Kaiser Permanente Arena events, including Santa Cruz Warriors home games, special events, etc.
  • Address the needs of event staff as they arise
  • Maintain working relationships with security and janitorial staff during events
  • Assist with cleanliness of arena throughout shifts
  • Work with Event Manager and part-time staff on venue set-up and/or breakdown for arena events
  • Regularly update management team on Arena-related elements that arise during events
  • Troubleshoot and conduct arena repairs and maintenance as assigned by Arena Operations Supervisor
  • Address emergency situations while on shift (i.e., security, fire/life safety, plumbing, etc.)
  • Other duties as assigned
Required Experience & Skills
  • 1 year of facility maintenance or event management experience
  • Excellent and engaging interpersonal and communication skills
  • High energy, strong detail orientation and superior work ethic
  • Ability to remain professional and courteous in a high-pressure and fast-paced environment, including during emergencies
Time Commitment
  • Available to work weekends is highly preferred
Physical Demands
  • Ability to bend/stretch/lifting to 50 lbs.
Compensation
  • $20.00 Per Hour
