Job description

Operator - Tank Area (3rd shift)

Salary Range $18.00 - $18.00 Hourly Position Type Full Time Job Shift Third Shift

Responsibilities

• Fill out material worksheets

• Fill out all quality forms checks.

• Consume in the system (AX) material used during production and report any discrepancy to supervisor

• Inventory accuracy in the work center

• Match retain sample with actual production (validation of quality)

• Train and instruct temporary employees.

• Maintain cleanliness and operation of equipment, and keep work area clean and organized at all times. (follow 5s-GMP's)

• Perform department shut down procedures.

• Inform supervisor of any problems (equipment, material shortages, formulas, and employees) to the supervisor as they occur.

• Performance allergen change over and have QA sign off before start production

• Turn work order packets into supervisor upon completion of the scheduled quantity.

• Conduct scrap reporting according to procedures.

• Fill out production report based on completed quantity information from line leader packer.

• Complete labor report.

• Run efficiently and follow all procedures related to job responsibilities.

• Report any safety concern to supervisor.

• Must cross-training in all positions within of department.

• Take daily inventory to big holding tanks.

• Inspect and Clean strainer / magnets

• Run a continuous process from one shift to the next. One operator taking over for the other operator (tag in tag out).

• Continuous employee empowerment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED

• Strong computer skills including Microsoft AX, Word, and Excel.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Must be well-organized with high attention to detail.

• The ability to successfully prioritize workload.

• The ability to perform basic math skills.

• The ability to perform basic reading skills, such as: reading labels, formulas, and directions.

• Knowledge of measurement, percentages, and ratios.

• The ability to communicate and write effectively in English.

• Flexible working hours for a seven-day operation.

• Dependable and adaptable to a fast pace work environment.
