Job description

Position summary: Supervises branch operations at a local level overseeing aftermarket performance to meet goals.


General Purpose: To provide excellent service, parts and rental support to our customers (external and internal) and grow our service within the local area.


Role qualifications:

  • Must partner with management team to ensure we are meeting local and corporate goals.
  • Must maintain systems and controls to ensure branch workflow coincides with other regional facilities.
  • Must ensure we maintain good customer and vendor relationships in line with business strategy.
  • Coordination of service and parts support for all specialty product functions within the region


Position responsibilities:

  • Supervise the operations of the branches.
  • Partner with general manager and branch managers to meet goals.
  • Maintain high customer satisfaction.
  • Development and supervision of branch staff.
  • Coordinate the enrollment and participation in training opportunities for staff development through outside services such as MHEDA, MRA, and other sources.
  • Oversight and responsibility of parts and service billing completion and results.
  • Audit KPIs to measure performance.
  • Perform and ensure all branch employees’ annual reviews are properly conducted in a timely manner.
  • Participate in management meetings as scheduled.
  • Ensure all service jobs are quoted properly and completed on time.
  • Ensure completed jobs are processed for billing immediately
  • Back up or arrange for back up when a branch employee is on vacation or ill
  • Ensure branch is maintained properly.
  • Ensure branch vehicles are properly maintained
  • Participate in or attend relevant trade shows.
  • Observe employee safety habits and work environment at every opportunity.
  • Handle any projects as assigned by executive management.


 

Essential skills and experience:

  • Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead people and get results through others
  • Management: ability to organize and manage multiple priorities
  • Planning: ability to think ahead and plan over a one-to-two year time span
  • Good interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills
  • Excellent knowledge of industrial powered equipment and our industry with at least 5 years in a service environment and at least two years in a supervisory capacity.
  • Strong computer proficiency – emphasis on Microsoft Excel, Word, Power Point
  • Must have valid and good motor vehicle driving record.
  • Must have valid operator’s license for powered industrial equipment.
  • Commitment to company vision and mission

Reporting to this position: Branch service, parts and rental operations. Coordination of regional initiatives with service, parts, and rental operations in other branches in the region.
