For over 80 years, Stier Supply Company has been a family-run leader in Millwork Services across the Southeast U.S. Our install teams work in new residential neighborhoods installing exterior doors, interior doors, trim, stairs, hardware, and blinds

The Area Operations Manager is responsible for safety, quality, team leadership and customer satisfaction. This is a high-impact role for someone who understands installed construction operations and knows how to lead teams while protecting margin. Why Work with Stier.

Leadership opportunity within a growing, family-owned company Competitive compensation package withweekly pay Vehicle allowance Medical, dental, vision, and life insurance 401(k) with company match Paid vacation and holidays What Youll Do Lead & Inspire: Manage and motivate a team of Field Managers and Field Technicians to meet project timelines and maintain superior quality on all installations. Customer Relationships: Build and maintain strong, professional relationships with key customers, builders, and trade partners, ensuring smooth project execution and prompt resolution of any issues. Operational Oversight:Coordinate field operations across multiple projects, ensuring that all teams are strategically aligned and workload is efficiently distributed.

Project Management: Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, ensure installations meet company standards, and address any challenges head-on. Budget & Schedule Management:Oversee scheduling and ensure that all projects are completed on time and within budget. Technology Integration: Use BOLT and other tools to track real-time project updates, review schedule changes, and audit the progress of your teams to ensure smooth workflow.

Safety & Compliance: Maintain Stier Supply Companys commitment to safety and enforce all safety standards on-site. What we are looking for: Minimum 2 years of leadership/management experience, preferably in construction or a related field Strong organizational and multitasking abilities with a keen eye for detail Experience with project scheduling and budget management is a plus Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Outlook, Dropbox, and construction management software Ability to build and maintain professional relationships with internal teams and external partners Valid drivers license and a reliable insured personal vehicle for daily use Ability to lift and transport materials (50+ lbs) on a repetitive basis Successful completion of drug and background screenings Training & Development: To set you up for success, training for this rolemay involve travel to markets in North Carolina, South Carolina, or Georgia. We cover all travel expenses, including accommodation and meals, during your training.
