Ultrasound Technologist at TOPS Comprehensive Breast Centers

We’re looking for a skilled, per-diem Ultrasound Technologist with a passion for women’s health and breast imaging. The ideal candidate is experienced in breast ultrasound and interventional procedures, works well in a fast-paced, patient-focused environment, and takes pride in delivering accurate, high-quality imaging services.

This role requires travel to our sister centers in Willowbrook, Kingwood, Red Oak, and The Woodlands

Responsibilities:

  • Perform diagnostic breast ultrasound exams, including targeted and whole-breast screenings
  • Assist with ultrasound-guided interventional procedures, including biopsies and cyst aspirations
  • Ensure clear image quality while prioritizing patient comfort and safety
  • Accurately document and report findings into PACS and EMR systems
  • Maintain exam rooms, equipment, and supplies in a clean, organized, and functioning state
  • Adhere to all ACR, HIPAA, and facility guidelines and protocols
  • Collaborate closely with radiologists, technologists, and support staff to ensure efficient patient care and workflow
  • Provide clear instructions and emotional support to patients throughout procedures

Qualifications:

  • Completion of an accredited Ultrasound Technology program
  • Current certification by ARDMS (RDMS) in Breast (BR) with relevant breast ultrasound experience
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in breast ultrasound 
  • Current Texas Medical Board licensure (if applicable)
  • CPR certification (BLS) required
