Job Summary

We are seeking a Senior Mobile Developer to lead the architectural evolution of the in-house integrated Information and healthcare facilities management mobile platform, which includes business-critical operational applications such as eScheduler, Mobile Inspections, and Mobile Maintenance. They will function as a hands-on technical leader responsible for modernizing our mobile ecosystem by migrating legacy applications to contemporary frameworks, implementing enterprise-grade security controls, and supporting workflows used daily by frontline healthcare personnel. They will work closely with a small, highly experienced development team to elevate engineering practices and maintain platform reliability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the development, scaling, and architectural modernization of the in-house Information and healthcare facilities management mobile application suite across both iOS and Android platforms.
  • Migrate existing Xamarin. Forms applications to the .NET MAUI framework while systematically preserving core business logic and operational functionality.
  • Design and implement robust mobile authentication mechanisms, including Mobile Single Sign-On (SSO), OIDC/OAuth protocols, Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), and secure credential handling.
  • Support Security Risk Assessment (SRA), IT audits, and healthcare compliance mandates by applying secure coding standards and maintaining evidence-ready documentation.
  • Build, optimize, and maintain application features that support offline data persistence, local storage, and resilient REST API synchronization.
  • Mentor current mobile developers through structured code reviews, architectural guidance, definition of development standards, and hands-on technical coaching.
  • Collaborate with a small development squad, QA, cloud infrastructure, product managers, and operational stakeholders to deliver reliable, production-ready healthcare software.
  • Manage the end-to-end mobile release pipeline across Apple TestFlight, Google Play Console, enterprise Mobile Device Management (MDM) tools, and production deployments.
  • Diagnose framework-level performance bottlenecks, memory leaks, and rendering issues to optimize cross-platform user experiences for frontline workers.
  • Design and consume secure endpoints, ensuring efficient data serialization and parsing using JSON and XML structures over REST architectures.
  • Maintain and configure automated build and deployment workflows within existing cloud platform pipelines to support continuous integration and delivery.
  • Participate in daily team stand-ups, backlog grooming, and post-mortem incident debriefs to champion practical problem-solving and continuous platform improvement.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Comprehensive senior-level experience developing enterprise-grade mobile applications using C#, Xamarin.Forms, and .NET MAUI.
  • Demonstrated, hands-on experience successfully migrating production applications from Xamarin to .NET MAUI.
  • Deep understanding of MVVM patterns, cross-platform mobile architecture, RESTful API consumption, and local data persistence.
  • Practical experience implementing Microsoft Entra ID (formerly Azure AD), Mobile SSO, OIDC/OAuth, MFA, and device-level secure storage.
  • Prior experience engineering software within regulated spaces (such as healthcare, fintech, or defense) featuring strict security, audit, and compliance guardrails.
  • Proven track record deploying and troubleshooting applications via TestFlight, Google Play, CI/CD pipelines, or MDM software distribution models.
  • Direct development or integration experience utilizing the Azure cloud ecosystem and Azure DevOps pipelines. (Preferred)
  • Prior professional experience handling healthcare operations software or workflows (e.g., Environmental Services, Patient Transport, clinical workflows). (Preferred)
  • Specialized experience building high-availability offline sync engines and role-based access controls (RBAC) optimized for non-technical frontline operators. (Preferred)
