Job Summary:
Digital Cloak is seeking a highly skilled Enterprise Architect with mid-to-senior level experience and deep expertise in Cameo (No Magic / Dassault Systรจmes modeling tools). This role will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining enterprise architecture models, ensuring alignment between business strategy and technical solutions. Additional duties include the ability to leverage Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) to develop and manage system requirements, establish traceability, link model elements, create architecture frameworks, and complex system modeling, with the ability to translate business requirements into scalable enterprise solutions.

Essential Functions:

  • Enterprise Architecture & Strategy
  • Develop and maintain enterprise architecture frameworks, models, and roadmaps aligned with organizational goals
  • Define current-state and future-state architectures across business, application, data, and technology domains
  • Provide architectural guidance for large-scale systems and transformation initiatives
  • Develop and maintain system requirements using MBSE tool CAMEO; establish and maintain traceability between requirements, model elements, and create reports
  • Create and update technology roadmaps to align sustainment, upgrade, and long-term support strategies supporting organizational needs.
  • Organize and manage technical requirements supporting an engineering process framework.
  • Collaborate across various stakeholder teams throughout the organization and communicate technical information to non-technical audiences and proactively identify process or design improvements.
  • Create and update Information Support Plans (ISPs)
  • Cameo / MBSE Expertise
  • Lead the development and maintenance of architecture models using Cameo Systems Modeler / Cameo Enterprise Architecture
  • Apply SysML, UML, and DoDAF/UPDM/UAF frameworks within Cameo
  • Establish modeling standards, governance practices, and reusable architecture patterns
  • Support model integration, simulation, and validation activities
  • Solution Design & Governance
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into architecture designs
  • Review solution designs for compliance with enterprise architecture standards
  • Participate in architecture review boards and decision-making processes
  • Stakeholder Engagement
  • Work with business leaders, program managers, and engineering teams to align architecture with strategy
  • Communicate complex architecture concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Provide mentorship to junior architects and engineers
  • Tooling & Integration
  • Integrate Cameo models with other enterprise tools (e.g., , Azure Dev Ops (ADO) , or other lifecycle tools)
  • Support digital engineering environments and data interoperability
  • Evaluate and recommend improvements to architecture tooling and processes

Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

Required Education, Certifications / Licenses, Related Experience:

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in computer science or a related field or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of demonstrated experience in systems engineering, enterprise and/or solutions architecture
  • Hands-on experience with Cameo tools (Cameo Systems Modeler, Cameo EA, MagicDraw)

Preferred Education, Certifications / Licenses, Related Experience:

  • Experience working with and providing advisory services to senior Government personnel.
  • Advanced degree in a related field.
  • Additional certifications in advanced enterprise and solutions architecture.
  • Experience in digital engineering initiatives or model-based transformation programs
  • Familiarity with integration across engineering lifecycle tools (e.g., Azure Dev Ops (ADO))
  • Familiarity of the DOD IT Standards Registry (DISR) process
  • Experience with simulation, model validation, or digital twins

Physical Job Requirements:

  • This position requires the ability to remain in a stationary position (standing and/or seated) more than half the time.
  • This position requires the ability to spend more than half the time viewing computer monitors.

Primary Work Location:

  • This is a hybrid position. On-site work will be performed at the customer''s facility in Stafford, VA. Employee should live within a 45 minute drive of customer''s facility.
