Job description

Established Architectural Millwork and Casework company seeks experienced Product/Production Engineer.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Solve technical and creative challenges to create complete and accurate submittal and production drawings
  • Use current CAD and CAM software solutions to communicate with CNC machines and manufacturing personnel
  • Adhere to Company engineering conventions and standards

The ideal candidate will possess the following:

  • Proficiency in Autodesk AutoCAD, Autodesk Fusion, Autodesk Inventor, Microvellum, MS Office and CutRite software
  • Three or more years of experience engineering commercial architectural wood products in an AWI environment
  • Ability to read and interpret commercial architectural drawings
  • Extensive knowledge of millwork/casework construction, joinery, and hardware
  • Experience working with a wide variety of materials (solid wood and veneer, glass, metal, acrylics, upholstery, solid surface, stone, etc…)
  • Thorough understanding of commercial construction processes, means, and methods
  • High level of detail
  • Effective communicator
  • High level of analytical skills and independent problem solving
  • Effective time management and organizational skills
