AutoCad/Microvellum Engineer

Morgan Smith Industries LLC is looking for an AutoCad/Microvellum Engineer to join our team! We are a premier Architectural Millwork and Custom Manufacturing company located in Columbia, KY. We specialize in the manufacturing of large scale, premium grade architectural millwork and complex custom fabrications for large commercial, educational and institutional type products.

Responsibilities:

  • Designing casework, counter tops, and custom pieces (displays, reception desks, etc....)
  • Processing designed work out to shop and machines
  • Ordering needed materials and hardware

Required Work Experience, Skills, and Education:

  • Proficient with AutoCAD
  • Proficient with Excel
  • Micro-vellum experience is a plus, but can be trained on site for right candidate
  • Ability to read architectural drawings and specifications
  • Very detail oriented
  • Ability to change tasks quickly with the scope of work needed for production

Position is full time with a full package of benefits including health, dental and life insurance, 401K, PTO and paid holidays.

This is not a remote position and requires on-site at the company location in Columbia, KY.
