A Houston architecture studio focused on commercial, retail, multifamily, and related project types is seeking a Design Associate I to join its Texas team. This role is ideal for someone who can contribute to conceptual design, schematic design, renderings, site plans, redlines, markups, and presentation support while helping project teams move work forward with clear communication and strong follow-through.

What You'll Do

·       Support and help lead conceptual design, schematic design, renderings, site plans, redlines, markups, and presentation support.

·       Contribute to AutoCAD, Revit, Lumion, Enscape, Photoshop, InDesign, sketches, site planning, and meeting documentation.

·       Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, vendors, and internal project teams as appropriate.

·       Prepare, review, or coordinate drawings, documents, presentations, schedules, and project deliverables.

·       Help maintain project quality, deadlines, communication, and documentation accuracy.

·       Support project delivery from early planning or design through documentation and construction-phase coordination as applicable.


What We're Looking For

·       3+ years of experience preferred.

·       Conceptual and schematic design experience preferred.

·       AutoCAD, Revit, Lumion, Enscape, Photoshop, and InDesign experience preferred.

·       Ability to prepare sketches, site plans, renderings, meeting minutes, redlines, and markups.
