POSITION SUMMARY: We are seeking reliable and bilingual experience for a distribution center located in Ashland VA. In this role, interpreters will provide in-person, and possibly remote, support for new hires, onboarding, training, and support in a warehouse environment to ensure a safe and efficient workplace.


Languages Needed: Spanish, Dari, Haitian Creole, Amharic, Arabic, Turkish, French, American Sign Language.

Requirements


ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Conduct on-site training sessions for new warehouse employees regarding safety protocols, equipment handling, and warehouse management systems.
  • Act as a real-time interpreter between management and staff to facilitate daily operations, performance reviews, and safety briefings.
  • Ensure all trainees understand OSHA requirements and warehouse safety regulations.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Native or bilingual proficiency in English and one of the foreign languages.
  • 3-5 years' experience in interpretation and training, preferably within a distribution center environment.
  • Excellent communication, public speaking, and interpersonal skills,

Preferred Requirements:

  • ย Professional Interpreter Certification or similar accreditation is a plus.

Work Environment

  • Hours will be determined by the distribution center's hours.

Pay Range: $60 - $90 an hour
