About the Opportunity

Heritage Companies is seeking a talentedPower Platform Developer to join our growing technology team. In this role, you'll design, develop, and support Microsoft Power Platform solutions that drive critical business operations within our insurance organization.

You'll work as part of a collaborative, agile team with end-to-end ownership of projects-from intuitive Power Apps user interfaces to SQL Server backend integrations. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys solving complex business challenges, building scalable applications, and delivering solutions that make a measurable impact.

What You'll Do
  • Design, develop, and maintain productionPower Apps Canvas Apps used by internal business teams.
  • Build sophisticated PowerFx solutions utilizing collections, nested data structures,ForAll,Patch, andLookUp functions.
  • Develop integrations with SQL Server by creating structured JSON payloads, executing stored procedures, and parsing responses usingParseJSON.
  • Create, enhance, and maintainPower Automate cloud flows that streamline business processes.
  • Troubleshoot complex application behavior, connector authentication, data synchronization and platform-related issues.
  • Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to translate operational requirements into effective, user-friendly solutions.
  • Participate throughout the full application lifecycle- from requirements gathering through deployment and ongoing enhancements.
What You'll Bring
  • 2+ years of experience developing productionPower Apps Canvas Apps
  • Strong proficiency with PowerFx, including collections, variables, and context/state management
  • Experience integrating Power Apps with SQL Server, including stored procedures and structured JSON payloads
  • Hands-on experience building and maintaining Power Automate cloud flows
  • Strong troubleshooting skills involving UI behavior, galleries, nested collections, refresh logic, and data binding
  • Ability to independently own projects and deliver solutions from concept through deployment
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with technical and business teams
