Direct Companies is currently seeking a motivated Electrical Apprentice to join our team. This role provides hands-on training and experience in electrical installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting while working under the supervision of experienced electricians.

As an Electrical Apprentice, you will assist with electrical installations, prepare tools and materials for job site work, and support project teams to ensure electrical systems are installed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with applicable codes and standards. This position is ideal for individuals eager to develop technical skills while building a career in the electrical trade.

Position Summary

The Electrical Apprentice supports electricians with electrical installations, maintenance, and project execution while developing technical skills through on-the-job experience and apprenticeship training. This role requires strong attention to safety, a willingness to learn, and the ability to work collaboratively with team members to help maintain project schedules and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with installation of electrical wiring, conduit, fixtures, and equipment under supervision

  • Prepare materials, tools, and equipment required for electrical installations

  • Support testing and basic troubleshooting of electrical systems

  • Maintain organized work areas and ensure proper handling and storage of electrical materials

  • Follow job site safety protocols and proper use of personal protective equipment
