Job description

 Responsibilities: 

  • Performs mechanical repairs and maintenance to assigned areas.
  • Operates HVAC equipment including remote auxiliary equipment.
  • Takes frequent readings on all gauges on all property equipment and refrigeration equipment and maintain logs.
  • Checks all air handling units once per week and programming A/C schedules for all meeting rooms daily.
  • Performs all maintenance including preventive maintenance.
  • Responds to all emergency conditions.
  • Assists General Maintenance on technical problems.
  • Assists the manager in emergency situations.
  • Performs preventive maintenance to all equipment and record history in log.
  • Orders and receives materials related to area and maintain orderly inventory.
  • Familiarizes self with and completes all paperwork associated with preventive maintenance program.
  • Maintains good housekeeping practices in shop and work areas.
  • Assists in other areas in repairs.
  • Maintains knowledge of property information and memorabilia.
  • Adheres to department and property policies and procedures.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

    Work Environment: 

    •  The level of education, experience, and training an individual must have at minimum to be considered qualified for the position.
    • Specific skills such as computer usage, communication, 10-key touch, etc.
    • The physical components of the job and how the physical aspect is accomplished.
    • Union Representation: This position is represented by IUOE and is subject to the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
    • Must be available to work weekends, holidays, and nights as scheduled
