Title: Apprentice in Speech-Language (ASL)
About Amplified Therapy, Inc. (ATI):
Amplified Therapy Inc. is a family-owned pediatric healthcare provider specializing in early intervention and school-based therapy services across New Mexico. As a certified NM Family Infant Toddler (FIT) provider, ATI delivers high-quality, no-cost services to families with children from birth to age three who are at risk of developmental delays or disabilities.
Position Summary:
The Apprentice in Speech-Language (ASL) assists the Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in client screenings, assessments, and evaluations. ASLs implement therapy treatment plans under supervision, support collaborative care, and contribute to maintaining a safe and effective therapy environment. This role also includes participation in educational, research, and quality improvement initiatives.
Apprentice in Speech-Language (ASL) Qualifications:
  • Enrolled in a graduate program from an accredited Communication Disorders program.
  • Licensed or eligible for licensure as an Apprentice in Speech-Language with the New Mexico Regulation and Licensing Department.
Apprentice in Speech-Language Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Implement evidence-based practices aligned with program goals as directed by the supervising SLP.
  • Attend IFSP, IEP, and team conferences as assigned
  • Participate in professional development and company committees
  • Represent ATI in community outreach events and professional meetings.
  • Adapt to various service delivery settings including homes, clinics, and community environments.
  • Travel within the assigned county of service to complete family visits.
