Job description

ExcelCare at Troy Hills is offering a Weekend Warrior Program for CNAs, LPNs, and RNs who are committed to working consistent weekend shifts while earning enhanced pay. This program is designed for dependable clinical staff seeking a structured weekend schedule with premium compensation.


Located at 200 Reynolds Ave, Parsippany, NJ 07054

Weekend Program Schedule:
Weekend hours are defined as:

  • Friday 11:00 PM through Monday 7:00 AM

Participants must commit to:

  • Four (4) weekend shifts per week (typically structured as doubles)

Compensation Structure:

CNA works 30 hours, get paid for 37.5 hours

RN/LPN works 32 hours, get paid for 40 hours

Important Pay Conditions:

Additional paid hours are forfeited if:

  • Any scheduled shift is missed (call-out), or

  • Overtime is incurred during the pay period

  • If forfeited, employees are paid for actual hours worked only

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct patient/resident care in accordance with care plans

  • Administer medications and treatments (RN/LPN)

  • Assist residents with daily living activities (CNA)

  • Maintain accurate documentation

  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary team

Qualifications:

  • Active NJ CNA certification or RN/LPN license in good standing

  • Prior long-term care experience preferred

  • Strong reliability and attendance required

  • Ability to commit to full weekend schedule

Additional Program Guidelines:

Call-Out Policy:

  • Any call-out voids the weekend premium pay for that pay period

Meal Break Requirement:

  • Mandatory meal breaks must be taken each shift in accordance with policy

Vacation & PTO:

  • CNA: Paid 30 hours for weekend vacation

  • RN/LPN: Paid 32 hours for weekend vacation

  • PTO does not count as hours worked or toward accruals

Holiday Pay:

  • Time and a half (1.5×) paid for hours worked on holidays

  • Weekend premium is still forfeited if call-out or overtime occurs
