Job description

Del Conca USA is seeking a skilled Industrial Maintenance Electrician to join our state-of-the-art tile manufacturing facility in Loudon, TN.

In this role, you will diagnose, maintain, test, and repair complex electrical/electronic, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems. By ensuring equipment reliability and performing both emergency and scheduled preventive maintenance, you will play a vital role in keeping our production running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities

  • Electrical Troubleshooting: Plan, install, and repair complex electrical equipment including control panels, relays, circuit breakers, PLCs, and computer interfaces.
  • VFD Programming: Initialize, upgrade, and troubleshoot VFDs (including Omron, Yaskawa, Emerson, ABB, and Siemens).
  • Preventive Maintenance (PM): Conduct scheduled PMs on manufacturing machinery and facility systems (lighting, generators, etc.) using electrical and mechanical schematics.
  • Emergency Diagnostics: Provide fast, efficient emergency repairs during production runs to minimize downtime.
  • Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to OSHA standards, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures, and always wear required PPE (safety glasses, cut-resistant gloves, steel-toed boots).
  • Workplace Standards: Use hand/power tools and material handling equipment safely while keeping work areas clean, organized, and hazard-free.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Education: High school diploma or GED required. (An Associate degree in Electrical or Industrial Maintenance, or completion of a craft apprenticeship/military equivalent is a major plus).
  • Experience: 3+ years of manufacturing maintenance or military technical maintenance experience is preferred.
  • Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in interpreting electrical schematics, diagnostics, and industrial electrical systems.
  • On-Call Availability: Highly motivated, able to work independently, and willing to be on-call to support our 24/7 manufacturing operations.

Physical Demands & Work Environment

  • Physical Ability: Must be able to stand, walk, sit, bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl for extended periods.
  • Lifting: Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull materials up to 60 pounds.
  • Work Environment: Comfortable working around industrial machinery with exposure to noise, dust, and varying temperatures (particularly near kiln firing processes).
