Job description

Apprentice Hours: 7am to 330pm/Monday to Friday

Once apprenticeship is committed. Hours will be 11am to 7:30pm PART TIME-Variable shifts.

About Corewell Health Beaumont Troy Hospital

In response to the health care needs of a growing community, in 1977, Corewell opened a new 189-bed hospital on rural farmland in Troy. Today, Corewell Health Beaumont Troy Hospital has grown to 530 licensed beds and offers a comprehensive array of health care services, continuing to develop to meet the needs of the growing communities it serves.

Scope of work

Under general supervision and according to established policies and procedures perform diagnostic Mammography exams utilizing appropriate imaging equipment. Technologists must demonstrate good clinical skills and provide the best possible images for interpretation while applying ALARA principles of radiation protection.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent Required
  • Associates degree. Graduated from accredited Radiography program required.
  • CRT-Radiologic Technologist Registration - ARRT American Registry of Radiologic Technologist Must remain in good standing with ARRT Upon Hired Required.
  • CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA American Heart Association or Red Cross
