About Us

At Sodecia, we’re a global manufacturing partner in the automotive industry, specializing in welding and stamping solutions. We are looking for a skilled Industrial Electrician to join our maintenance team and keep our production equipment performing at its best.

What You’ll Do

  • Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair industrial electrical equipment and controls.

  • Read and interpret electrical drawings, blueprints, and code specifications.

  • Install wiring, receptacles, switch boxes, conduits, feeders, cable assemblies, and lighting.

  • Test electrical and electronic equipment for continuity, current, voltage, and resistance.

  • Maintain, repair, and test switchgear, transformers, motors, generators, batteries, and control systems.

  • Troubleshoot and repair stamping presses, robots (Fanuc/Comau), and other machinery using schematics and testing tools.

  • Program and teach Fanuc and/or Comau robots.

  • Perform preventive maintenance and maintain accurate records.

  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and complete additional duties as assigned.

What We’re Looking For

  • Completion of an Industrial Electrician apprenticeship program.

  • Journeyman’s card or 8+ years of equivalent experience.

  • Trade certification (preferred).

  • Knowledge of ladder/relay logic, DC drives, and NEC codes.

  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, “Just in Time” manufacturing environment.

  • Willingness to work 2nd or 3rd shift, overtime, and weekends.
