We are currently seeking a Tool Maker Leader to join our growing team. This position is ideal for an experienced Tool Making Leader who takes pride in leadership, problem-solving, and maintains integrity in all aspects of mold making.Key ResponsibilitiesLead the construction of complex new molds and repairs.Work closely with all internal departments to schedule work smoothly to meet due datesConstruct, alter, repair a variety of molds to close tolerances as required to fit and assemble partsLead all phases of mold-making projects from start to finish, including spotting, grinding, polishing, and assemblyPerform numerous grindings, EDM operations, fittings on projects as assigned; verify accuracy and functionality of work at all stages to ensure total customer satisfactionLead projects (from one to six at a time); balance priorities in personal work schedule to ensure timely delivery of error-free products to customers always maintaining customer-focused prioritiesQualifications8-10 years of tool building experience for the plastic injection molding industry.Experience in leading staff, delegating tasks and projects, teaching and developing apprentices.Strong working knowledge of computers required.
