Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Cabinet Maker role based in Framingham, MA, focused on high-end architectural millwork and custom cabinetry. The Cabinet Maker will interpret shop drawings, measure and lay out materials, and build, assemble, and fit custom casework, panels, and trim using a variety of woodworking tools and machinery. Daily tasks include cutting, shaping, and sanding components; fitting hardware; checking dimensions and tolerances; and ensuring finished pieces meet design specifications and quality standards. The role involves collaborating with project managers and other shop team members to prioritize work, meet deadlines, and maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace. The Cabinet Maker may also assist with installation preparation, packaging, and occasional on-site adjustments to ensure seamless integration of millwork into final spaces.
Qualifications
  • Strong skills in Millwork and Cabinetry for high-end, custom architectural projects.
  • Hands-on experience with Carpentry and Woodworking, including use of common shop tools and machinery.
  • Ability in Spatial Design, reading and interpreting shop drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
  • Attention to detail, precise measuring, and commitment to producing high-quality finishes.
  • Understanding of shop safety practices and proper handling of tools, equipment, and materials.
  • Ability to lift and move materials, stand for extended periods, and perform physically demanding tasks safely.
