You may learn and perform shampooing and head massage treatments and assist in hair blow drying and mixing color. Your responsibilities include preparing the salon and the stylists each day with necessary hair products and equipment. Throughout the apprentice process, you develop expertise in hair styling such as updos and braiding, makeup services if applicable, and other treatments.
