We are seeking an experienced Water & Wastewater Engineer to join our Plymouth Meeting, PA team. The Water & Wastewater Engineer will lead small teams and work closely with Senior Project Managers to complete civil engineering projects in mostly the Water & Waste Water field with a strong emphasis on plant work. These projects will include the design of public facilities like, water lines and sewer lines, water and sewer pump stations, treatment plant improvements, and planning documents associated with water and sewer systems.
Job Responsibilities, include but not limited to:
  • Lead a small teams from preliminary project layout to bidding
  • Prepare projects for construction management by an adjacent team at ATLAS
  • Work with the support of a Senior Project Manager
  • Develop project solutions to client needs
  • Attend client facing meetings for projects and opportunities
  • Remain alert to additional project opportunities at existing clients
  • Mentor younger staff by providing tasks commensurate with their experience level
  • Increase understanding of local ordinances and design standards

Minimum Requirements:
  • Prof. Engineering License or ability to acquire within six months of employment
  • Very strong attention to detail, very strong engineering ethics
  • Willingness to expand personal engineering knowledge
  • Ability to prepare plan and spec packages required for project completion
  • Ability to obtain various permits required for project completion
  • Knowledge of Engineering design standards and their importance
  • Awareness of Autodesk software packages (Autocad, Civil 3D, Plant 3D, ReCap, etc)
  • Knowledge of Pennsylvania Municipal system of government
  • Interest in the engineering topics listed above Job Responsibilities
  • 4-8 years of project leadership experience
