Job Summary:
As a Body Shop Technician Apprentice at Bomnin Automotive, you will embark on a rewarding career path in the automotive repair industry. Under the guidance of experienced technicians and with the support of our team, you will learn and develop the skills necessary to become a proficient Body Shop Technician. This hands-on training opportunity will provide you with the knowledge and expertise needed to repair and restore vehicles to their pre-accident condition.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Learning and Development: Participate in structured training programs designed to teach you the fundamentals of body repair and refinishing.
  • Assist Technicians: Work alongside experienced Body Shop Technicians to assist with vehicle repairs and refinishing processes.
  • Tools and Equipment: Learn to use and maintain various hand and power tools, as well as specialized equipment used in body repair work.
  • Vehicle Inspection: Assist in inspecting damaged vehicles and identifying the necessary repair procedures.
  • Preparation: Prepare vehicles for repair work, including disassembly, masking, and cleaning.
  • Paint Mixing: Learn the art of paint mixing and color matching to achieve a seamless finish.
  • Panel Repair: Develop skills in repairing damaged vehicle panels, including straightening and welding.
  • Refinishing: Gain proficiency in the refinishing process, including priming, painting, and clear-coating.
  • Quality Control: Assist in quality control checks to ensure all repairs meet industry standards and safety regulations.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of repair work and materials used.
