Responsibilities

  •  Drive semis and stake trucks with a variety of trailer types
  • Load, transport, and unload industrial machinery safely, efficiently, and within the provided scope of work
  • Assist Foremen and Apprentices with industrial machine repair activities and other general labor duties when not driving/operating as needed
  • Confidently operate a variety of industrial equipment such as forklifts, man lifts, cranes, and other associated equipment

Requirements:
  • 1+ years of tractor-trailer operation experience
  • Valid CDL-A endorsement with air brakes and DOT medical card
  • Experience in or willingness to learn rigging
  • Ability to load, transport, and unload machinery and equipment  
  • Industrial machine maintenance/repair experience is preferred but not required
  • Experience hauling oversize is beneficial but not required
  • High School Diploma or GED

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to ascend/descend ladders, scaffolds, stairs, and/or operate scissor/boom lifts while working at height.  
  • Work in permit & non-permit required confined spaces and in proximity to loud equipment.  
  • Must be able to lift and carry or otherwise move up to 50 pounds regularly/occasionally  
  • Must be able to respond quickly to auditory alarms, visual signals, or other effective means to communicate hazards  
  • Must be able to move safely over uneven terrain or in confined spaces. 
  •  Must be able to work in cold/hot environments. 
  • Must be able to traverse irregular and steep terrain.
