What You'll Do:
Construct, operate, and maintain overhead and underground power lines, substations, and related equipment.
Install and maintain street lighting systems, adhering to quality and safety standards.
Execute system switching, in line with Electrical Operations Standards.
Supervise contracted labor effectively, ensuring compliance and quality.
Administer maintenance programs and system inspections, while maintaining comprehensive documentation.
Collaborate with electrical technicians for equipment installation and maintenance.
Diagnose and troubleshoot system faults, offering both immediate and long-term solutions.
Handle emergency response and standby duties efficiently.
Coordinate outages and execute switching orders with precision.
Respond to customer service requests promptly and professionally.
Participate in company-sponsored community relations activities.
Maintain and operate company vehicles and equipment responsibly.

What You Bring:
Valid Journeyperson Powerline Technician Certificate.
Valid or eligibility for Interprovincial Red Seal.
Demonstrated knowledge of live line techniques using bare hand, sticks, and 25kv rubber glove work achieved through live line training is preferred.
Valid Class 5 vehicle operator's license; ability to obtain Class 1 or Class 3 Operator's License.
Valid First Aid Certificate.
