Job description

We are seeking experienced Industrial Electricians for a large-scale Industrial construction project in the early stages of development. Candidates must have strong experience working with 3" rigid conduit, underground and rough-in installations, and be comfortable operating in an active construction environment.

Industrial Electrician – Job DescriptionResponsibilities
  • Install, bend, and run rigid and EMT conduit ranging from 3” to 4”
  • Read and interpret blueprints, electrical drawings, and specifications
  • Perform layout, rough-in, and installation for commercial electrical systems
  • Pull wire and install cable trays, panels, switchgear, and electrical equipment
  • Work safely from aerial lifts and scissor lifts at various heights
  • Assist with underground conduit installation and startup phase construction activities
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment in compliance with OSHA standards
  • Coordinate with foremen and other trades on-site to maintain production schedules
Requirements
  • Minimum 5+ years of heavy commercial electrical experience
  • Must have proven experience working with 3”–4” conduit
  • Experience bending and installing large conduit systems required
  • Must have own basic electrician hand tools and PPE
  • Valid OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 Certification required
  • Aerial Lift and/or Scissor Lift Certification required
  • Fall Protection Certification required
  • Ability to read blueprints and work independently with minimal supervision
  • Reliable transportation and strong attendance required
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience on large commercial or industrial construction projects
  • Experience with rigid conduit, underground, and switchgear installations
  • Ability to lead helpers or apprentices is a plus
Work Environment
  • Commercial construction site in startup phase
