Job Summary

The Electrical Apprentice role will be field based project support making sure that NES is building a high quality, customer friendly, top of the line package. This role will be in direct communication with project electrical lead, both internally and externally. However, the Electrical Apprentice will maintain constant communication with their immediate supervisor to guarantee project needs are met. As a member of the NES Team, the Electrical Apprentice will serve as an accountable party in ensuring projects are completed properly and in a timely manner.

• Conforms to company and customer safety procedures.

Qualifications
• POSSESS ELECTRICAL TRAINEE CERTIFICATION ACCORDING TO STATE REQUIREMENTS.
• HAVE SOME ELECTRICAL SERVICE WORK EXPERIENCE.
• DEMONSTRATE KNOWLEDGE OF ELECTRICAL CODES.
• POSSESS THE ABILITY TO UNDERSTAND SCHEMATICS AND TECHNICAL MANUALS.
• ABILITY TO TRAVEL.
• ABILITY TO WORK FLEXIBLE HOURS INCLUDING NIGHTS, WEEKENDS AND HOLIDAYS.
• TWO-YEAR OR TRADE DEGREE IN RELATED FIELD PREFERRED.
• STRONG TROUBLESHOOTING ABILITIES.
Work Environment
The Electrician Apprentice will support electricians in the construction, maintenance, operation and repair of electrical systems. They assist with and perform installation to ensure the effective operation of various electrical equipment. The Electrician Apprentice is in a position that is partly educational training to become an Electrician. Therefore, he or she is responsible for learning all procedures for installing and maintaining electrical systems as well as local and federal regulations and safety requirements.
