Job description

Job Title: Electrical Control Panel AssemblerJob Description

Join our team to engage in hands-on assembly of electrical control panels, wiring harnesses, and related components used in industrial automation systems. We seek dependable individuals with strong attention to detail and proven panel building experience.

Responsibilities
  • Assemble and route wiring harnesses, including cutting, stripping, crimping, labeling, and terminating cables.
  • Connect drivers and electrical components without the need for programming.
  • Perform wiring inside control panels, junction boxes, and Dixel panels.
  • Follow wiring diagrams, schematics, and work instructions accurately.
  • Install and secure mechanical components, such as coil pumps, heat trace elements, and enclosures.
  • Use hand and power tools safely and effectively.
  • Assist in the layout, mounting, and assembly of panel frames, hardware, and electrical devices.
  • Conduct self-checks to ensure accurate wiring and clean panel layouts.
  • Maintain safe work practices and comply with all facility safety policies.
  • Keep work area organized and adhere to standard operating procedures.
Essential Skills
  • Experience working in a control panel shop.
  • Hands-on wiring experience, including harnesses, terminations, crimping, and routing.
  • Experience with industrial controls or automation components.
  • Familiarity with heat trace, Dixel systems, or panel build environments.
  • Ability to read schematics and blueprints.
  • Strong manual dexterity and comfort using tools.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs. when necessary.
  • Excellent attendance and communication skills with low tolerance for unexcused absences.
