Job description

Walker Engineering is actively hiring experienced Apprentice Electricians (E4–E5) for commercial projects across the DFW Metro. If you have a solid foundation in the trade and are ready to take the next step in your career, we want to hear from you.

Position Overview:
As an E4+ Apprentice Electrician, you’ll be expected to perform a variety of installation, maintenance, and repair tasks on commercial job sites. You’ll bring a solid understanding of electrical systems and play a key role in keeping projects on track.

Key Responsibilities:
Responsibilities vary based on E-Level and experience

  • Assist with the layout and installation of electrical systems
  • Pull wire, bend conduit, and install fixtures
  • Maintain a clean and safe job site
  • Operate hand tools and power tools under supervision
  • Support less experienced apprentices when needed
  • Follow all site safety procedures—no work on energized circuits
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members

Minimum Requirements:

  • Active TDLR Electrical Apprentice Card
  • E4 Level or higher
  • At least 4 years of commercial electrical experience
  • Basic hand tools of the trade
  • Valid Driver’s License or State ID
  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent preferred
  • Reliable transportation and strong attendance record
