Training is individualized and progresses at your own pace under the direction of our master repair technician.

Career Advancement

Our apprenticeship includes a structured advancement program.

You will begin on an instrument assigned by the foreman. After demonstrating proficiency and receiving approval, you'll advance to the next level with a $2.00/hour raise each time you master a new instrument.

Current progression includes:

  • Clarinet / Bass Clarinet – $17/hr
  • Flute – $19/hr

  • Tenor Saxophone – $23/hr
  • Baritone Saxophone – $25/hr
  • Oboe – $27/hr
  • Bassoon – $29/hr
  • Contrabass Clarinet – $31/hr

This is a true career path—not just a job.

  • Excellent attendance and punctuality
  • A strong desire to learn a skilled trade
  • Respect for coworkers and customers
  • Self-motivation and willingness to take ownership of their training
  • Pride in producing quality work

  • All required repair tools and supplies provided

Additional Requirements
