Job description

The Boat House of Door County Service Department is looking for an experienced Marine technician to join the team!
All candidates are required to have previous marine, auto, or heavy equipment engine experience. Preference given to those candidates with dealership experience.
Still working towards your Master Certification? The Boat House will help you achieve that level while paying better than competitive wages.
What we are looking for in a candidate:
  • Conduct routine maintenance and repair services on marine engines, propulsion systems, and related components.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues on a variety of marine vessels.
  • Perform installations, upgrades, and modifications to enhance the performance of marine systems.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their specific needs and provide tailored solutions.
  • Maintain accurate records of service activities, including parts used and work performed.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to clients, ensuring a positive customer experience.
  • Proven experience as a Marine Technician with expertise in marine engine systems, electrical systems, and hydraulic systems.
  • Strong knowledge of various marine vessels, including boats, and other watercraft.
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently in diverse environments.
  • Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.

The pay for this position is based upon experience and you could have the ability to make up to $100,000 with overtime based on your certifications.
