Inside Sales Representative – Industrial Machinery / Machine Tools 
KAAST Machine Tools is a rapidly growing international distributor of CNC and conventional machine tools, serving manufacturers throughout North America. We provide sales and service for a comprehensive line of high-quality machinery, including mills, lathes, saws, grinders, press brakes, shears, angle and plate rolls, laser systems, waterjets, and other fabrication equipment.
Our headquarters and flagship warehouse are located in Philadelphia, PA, with a second warehouse in Chicago, IL. As we continue expanding our footprint, we are excited to grow our presence in California and are seeking an Inside Sales Representative based in the Los Angeles area to help establish and develop this market.
This position will initially operate from a home office while we complete the launch of our Los Angeles warehouse and office location. Once the facility is operational, this role will transition to an in-office position based out of the new LA location. Candidates must currently reside within commuting distance of Los Angeles, CA.
Position Overview
This is a full-time position for a motivated Inside Sales Representative who enjoys building relationships, solving customer challenges, and helping manufacturers find the right equipment for their production needs.
The majority of your time will be spent working with warm leads and inbound inquiries, while also identifying new business opportunities and developing long-term customer relationships. Although this is primarily an inside sales position, KAAST encourages Sales Representatives to visit customers when appropriate to strengthen relationships and better understand their operations.
Travel is approximately 10% and primarily consists of attending 2–3 industry trade shows per year, along with occasional customer visits.
Responsibilities
  • Contact warm leads and respond promptly to inbound sales inquiries.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers.
  • Analyze customer applications and manufacturing processes to recommend the best equipment solutions.
  • Prepare accurate and timely equipment quotations.
  • Maintain customer information, opportunities, and sales activity within the company CRM.
  • Develop and maintain a strong understanding of KAAST's machine tool and fabrication equipment product lines.
  • Follow up on quotes and sales opportunities to help drive business growth.
  • Stay organized, self-motivated, and proactive in managing your sales pipeline.
  • Provide exceptional customer service throughout the sales process.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 2 years of sales experience (required).
  • Minimum of 2 years of capital equipment or machine tool sales experience (required).
  • Experience in manufacturing, machining, fabrication, or industrial equipment is strongly preferred.
  • Strong account management and relationship-building skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Comfortable communicating with customers by phone, email, and in person.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and CRM software.
  • Highly organized, self-motivated, and able to work independently.
  • Ability to travel approximately 10% for trade shows and customer visits.
  • Must reside in or around the Los Angeles, CA area.
