About the Role: 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities 

As a cabinetry apprentice, you will work under the guidance of experienced cabinet makers to learn the skills required to design, build, and install custom cabinets and other types of woodworking projects.

 Duties:

To succeed in this role, you should have a strong interest in woodworking and cabinetry making, a willingness to learn and take direction, and the ability to work collaboratively with others. You should also be detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and able to lift and carry heavy materials as required. Some previous experience in woodworking or related fields may be preferred but is not required.

Qualification Requirements 

• Training Graduation from an accredited high school or vocational school. 
• Experience as a Apprentice carpenter or completion of a recognized apprenticeship in this work; or any equivalent combination of experience a
• High school diploma or GED certificate
• Keen attention to detail
• Able to use common hand tools and power tools
• PPE and carpentry trade tools
• Troubleshooting and communication skills
• Physical stamina for lifting equipment and working at various heights and in tight spaces

Essential Physical Tasks 

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to walk, stand, sit, bend, use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls, reach with hands and arms, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, drive, talk and hear. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 80 pounds. Typical Working Conditions 

Work performed in a combination of an office and rare field environment. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, and the risk of electrical shock. The noise level in the work environment is usually low to moderate. In some instances, this job may require work in areas where ear, eye, and hard hats for protection are necessary.   While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to walk, stand, sit, bend, use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls, reach with hands and arms, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, drive, talk and hear.
