The Role

Build What Others Can't. Lead Where It Counts.

We're looking for a seasoned Electrical Superintendent who knows commercial retail construction inside and out — someone who has walked hundreds of jobsites, commanded crews, and delivered results when it matters most. The right candidate doesn't just show up — they show up prepared, consistent, and committed to the team around them. If you've spent the last decade-plus making things happen in the field and you're ready to take that experience nationwide, this role was built for you.

This is a salaried position with a competitive compensation based on the strength of your experience and what you bring to the table.

What You'll Do

You'll own the field. From mobilization to final energization and turnover, you'll be the driving force behind every aspect of electrical construction on commercial retail projects across the country. This role demands someone who is dependable under pressure and understands that a winning project is always a team effort.

  • Lead all on-site electrical operations — conduit systems, feeders, switchgear, panels, transformers, lighting, controls, and specialty systems
  • Review drawings, one-lines, panel schedules, specifications, and submittals; catch constructability concerns before they become problems
  • Ensure full compliance with NEC requirements and local AHJ standards at every stage
  • Coordinate with utility providers for temporary power, permanent service, and inspections
  • Partner closely with Project Managers, general contractors, engineers, and subcontractors — success here is built on collaboration, not silos
  • Build and manage master schedules; maintain two-week look-ahead schedules specific to electrical sequencing
  • Coordinate manpower, materials, and equipment to hit every milestone — your crew counts on you to have it right
  • Administer and enforce the project safety program — lead by example, every single day
  • Conduct safety meetings, job hazard analyses, and weekly production meetings
  • Maintain as-built drawings, daily reports, and full project documentation
  • Track and follow up on RFIs, submittals, and shop drawings
  • Mentor apprentices and junior supervisors — a great team player builds more great team players

What We're Looking For

We need someone the team can count on — a leader who brings consistency, accountability, and a genuine commitment to the people working alongside them.

  • 10+ years of commercial electrical construction experience, with a strong focus on retail locations and ground-up commercial projects
  • Proven track record of field leadership — you've managed multi-level crews and delivered projects on time, on budget, and to spec
  • Demonstrated dependability: you follow through, you communicate, and your team never wonders where you stand
  • A true team player who collaborates effectively with Project Managers, GCs, inspectors, subcontractors, and field crews — and earns their respect
  • Valid State Electrical Journeyman or Master License (required)
  • Deep working knowledge of NEC and commercial electrical systems
  • Experience managing inspections, utility coordination, and AHJ relationships
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical construction drawings and specifications without hand-holding
  • Experience with distribution centers, retail spaces, fueling stations, or similar commercial facility types is a strong plus
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Ability to pass background check and pre-employment drug screening
  • Willingness and ability to travel nationwide up to 85% — this role goes where the work is

What You'll Get

  • Competitive salary: $130,000–$160,000 based on qualifications
  • A long-term home with a growing company that values quality craftsmanship, disciplined execution, and people who take pride in their work
  • The opportunity to build landmark retail projects across the country
  • A culture where dependability is recognized and teamwork is how we win — every project, every time

Getting Started

All new hires will complete an in-person orientation and training at our Fort Worth, TX office during the first week after hire.

If you've got the experience, the drive, the dependability, and the team-first mindset to own this role — we want to hear from you.
