Arctic Vans has an immediate opening at our new Hagerstown facility. We are a family-owned business under new ownership and recently relocated from Pennsylvania. Each of the following positions are full-time and include benefits. Positions consist of 40 hours per week, during our hours of operation M-F from 8 AM to 5 PM. Depending on production back-log, there might be opportunities for overtime.

Compensation for all open positions is based on experience and ability.

Welder/Fabricator (Apprentice) – Needs to have experience in all forms of aluminum welding; Tig & Mig experience preferred or possess the ability to be trained. Most welding will be fabricated for installation of aluminum flooring after the vans have been insulated. Process can be viewed on the Arctic Vans website. Candidate will be required to have the ability to operate a shear and a brake for aluminum shaping and forming. Must possess the ability and skill set to be trained.

Welder/Fabricator (Journeyman) – Needs to have experience in all forms of aluminum welding; Tig & Mig experience preferred. Most welding will be fabricated for installation of aluminum flooring after the vans have been insulated. Process can be viewed on the Arctic Vans website. Candidate will be required to have the ability to operate a shear and a brake for aluminum shaping and forming. Design, fabricate and repair equipment utilizing fixtures or drawings.

Welder/Fabricator (Expert) – Needs to have experience in all forms of aluminum welding; Tig & Mig experience preferred. Most welding will be fabricated for installation of aluminum flooring after the vans have been insulated. Process can be viewed on the Arctic Vans website. Candidate will be required to have the ability to operate a shear and a break for aluminum shaping and forming. Fabricate/weld of assorted products using various raw materials, tooling and hands. Responsible for reading and or understanding assembly instructions, ensuring that the required finished product meets quality control standards. Aids in training others.
