Job description

At Senra Systems, we believe that the future of manufacturing lies not in automation, but in configuration.  

We supercharge electrical wire harness manufacturing through software configuration, transforming skilled assembly tasks into high-throughput production lines. We enable customers to design what they want, when they want it and deliver harness builds at record-breaking speed.

In this role, you will work as an early member of our manufacturing team to build wire harness assemblies and operate machinery. You will also work closely with other engineers and other technicians to design, develop, and iterate on the material process flow for the factory.  

What you'll own:

  • Work in a high pace environment to manufacture wire harnesses for critical aerospace and defense applications
  • Responsible for cutting wires, running complex machinery, and labeling applications 
  • Be involved in ideation, planning, and execution stages of product development
  • Manufacturing electrical harness assemblies, including ability to correctly interpret schematics and build compliant electrical assemblies as well as demonstrated knowledge of basic electrical tests such as continuity and insulation resistance.
  • Work cross-functionally with teams across the organization to understand their technology needs and build solutions accordingly
  • Write documentation for development processes and operations
  • Adapt to change quickly and stay up-to-date with new technologies and tools that can benefit the organization
  • Occasionally provide technical support to customers and help improve the overall customer experience, eventually participate in on-call rotation as the company grows
  • Support ad-hoc projects to boost output and ensure harness builds are delivered quickly and efficiently.

What you'll bring to the team:

  • No prior wire harness experience is required. Senra is committed to training hard working individuals who are excited for not just a job, but a long standing career.
  • High school diploma or equivalent certification and 1+ years in a manufacturing or customer service environment or an associates degree in engineering, math, or science
  • Has worked in a fast paced environment such as construction, food services, or manufacturing  
  • Ability to review work instructions and multitask
  • Has a team-oriented attitude and will take pride in their work  
  • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. unassisted.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods (minimum of 8 hours).
  • Ability to stoop, bend, crawl, and work in confined or tight spaces.

Bonus Points: 

  • Experience working with electronics such as building a home computer, manufacturing wire harnesses, electromechanical assembly, or environmental testing
  • Experience working at an Aerospace and Defense company
  • Experience reading electrical schematics
  • Experience troubleshooting mechanical systems such as machines, automotivate vehicles, and electrical faults  

Compensation: 

  • Compensation will be based on experience, qualifications, and other job-related factors. 
  • Hourly Range: $18.00- $23.50
