As an Electrical and Instrumentation Technician - Level 3 here at Solstice you will be responsible for performing maintenance and repair on a variety of industrial mechanical systems and equipment, such as forges, presses, high temperature ovens, and various types of pumps/compressors. You will play a key role in supporting the operational excellence of our facilities by ensuring that all systems are functioning correctly and efficiently.
In this role, you will improve the efficiency and safety of our operations by ensuring that all electrical and instrumentation systems are maintained to the highest standards, thereby supporting our commitment to operational excellence and customer satisfaction.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on electrical and instrumentation systems to ensure optimal performance.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of work performed and equipment status.
  • Know how to read single line electrical diagrams.
  • Know how to trace electrical systems.
  • Know how to trouble shoot PLCs and DCSs.
  • Utilize SAP to plan work, tracking progress, and order parts.
  • Assist in the implementation of process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce waste.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve system issues and implement improvements.
  • Know how to trouble HVAC units that are not working correctly.
  • Know how to determine correct wire requirements and electricity requirements based on end electrical use.
  • Understand when and how to do ground fault checks along with megger testing.

YOU MUST HAVE
  • 5+ years of experience in electrical and instrumentation maintenance.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, instrumentation, and control systems.
  • Experience with troubleshooting and repair of electrical equipment and instrumentation.
  • Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and software for system analysis.
  • Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices in electrical maintenance.

Compensation:
The annual base pay range for this position is $54,007 to $67,534. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline.
