Job description

Job Summary

Amteck is currently looking to hire Traveling Electrical Service Superintendents for our Lexington KY Service Dept. These teams will be traveling to projects across the country to lead teams of Electricians and Apprentices.

You will have the ability to diversify your electrical skill set with being able to learn others within Amteck.

We have training for low voltage, fire alarm, controls, and instrumentation among other skill sets.

Responsibilities

Lead teams traveling on projects across the country, supervising a team of 5-10 employees, installing conduit, wire and cable systems, reading and interpreting blueprints, installing and terminating panels, switchboards and other electrical equipment, and troubleshooting and performing repairs on faulty circuits, equipment or systems.

Qualifications
  • 10+ years of electrical experience on commercial or industrial sites
  • Master Electrician License preferred
  • Ability to install conduit, wire and cable systems as required
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints
  • Ability to install and terminate panels, switchboards and other electrical equipment
  • Ability to troubleshoot and perform repairs on faulty circuits, equipment or systems
  • OSHA 10 preferred but not required
  • Conveyor/press experience preferred but not required
  • Experience supervising a team of 5-10
