Job DescriptionJob Description:- Under general supervision and engineering support, the Millwright will perform journey-level work in installation, maintenance and repair of mechanical equipment and machinery. The Millwright team conducts rigging activities associated with site maintenance throughout site, including supporting other trades in rigging needs.- The Millwright will fabricate parts in machine shop as needed. Demonstrate ownership of equipment systems serviced and pride in quality work. •-------- Install, align, maintain, troubleshoot and repair machinery and mechanical equipment including motors, pumps, fans, belt drives, vacuum pump systems, air compressors, etc. •-------- Maintain all machine shop tools and equipment as required. •-------- Fabricate mechanical devices and replacement parts working from sketches, CAD drawings/blueprints or verbal instructions. •-------- Inspect and service equipment according to preventative maintenance schedule, lubricate, maintain and adjust as required.- •-------- Safely and effectively rig machinery, piping system components and lab equipment in and out of operating areas •-------- Operate efficiently, all hand/power tools, test instruments and equipment normally used by this trade and maintain/return in good condition. •-------- Demonstrate ownership of workplace safety/site safety culture by adhering to all safety rules/regulations and reporting to supervisor any equipment in need of repair or any unsafe situations or conditions. •-------- Maintain work area and equipment in a safe, efficient and clean operating condition. •-------- Assist in performing other duties, including work of other trades as required.
