Who You Are

The ideal Apprentice Miller is dependable, safety-focused, and detail-oriented with a strong mechanical aptitude. You are eager to learn, work well both independently and as part of a team, and take pride in maintaining quality and efficiency in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

What You’ll Do

As an Apprentice Miller, you’ll play a key role in learning and supporting mill operations to ensure consistent, high-quality flour production while upholding food safety and operational excellence.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Operate and monitor mill processes, including flour transfers, to meet quality and customer specifications
  • Perform quality checks and food safety inspections during production
  • Assist with mill operations, equipment adjustments, and minor repairs
  • Follow all safety and food safety regulations including GMP, HACCP, OSHA, and FDA standards
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and audit-ready work environment
  • Support daily operations and step in for the Head Miller/Shift Miller as needed

What We’re Looking For

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • 1–3 years of experience in flour milling, food production, or manufacturing preferred
  • Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting/problem-solving skills
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and work with minimal supervision
  • Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office and related systems)
  • Strong communication skills and willingness to learn and grow
