Job description

Warehouse Associate - Advanced Crypto Services
About ACS
We repair Bitcoin mining hardware - the machines that keep the Bitcoin network running. Our facility in Carrollton is one of the only operations in DFW doing this work at scale, and demand is growing fast. As we grow, we're hiring warehouse associates who care about doing precision work the right way.
About the Role
This is hands-on, precision work. Every day you'll be handling equipment worth $3,000-$10,000 per unit - disassembling, cleaning, inspecting, sorting, and reassembling components. The work is physical, repetitive, and detail-driven. Small mistakes have real consequences, and consistent quality is the whole game.
We have three areas hiring right now:
- Scrapping and Recycling- Breaking down older miners into their components (boards, fans, cables, metal). Requires focus, dexterity, and a steady pace.
- Inspections - Placing miners into diagnostic racks for testing. Requires precision and following exact procedures.
- Inventory - Moving and tracking equipment across the facility. Requires attention to detail and comfort with basic software for logging.
Why This Might Be the Right Job For You
We're looking for people with strong **hand-eye coordination, precision under repetition, and the ability to sustain focus on detailed work.** These are the skills that make someone great at this job - and a lot of people already have them from experiences they might not think to put on a resume.
Backgrounds that translate really well to this work:
- Competitive or serious gamers - If you've grinded ranked ladders, run raids, put in 500+ hours on games like CS, Valorant, Rocket League, Apex, MMOs, or fighting games - you've built the exact focus, dexterity, and repetition tolerance this job rewards. Same skills, different context.
- PC builders, hobbyist electronics tinkerers, retro hardware modders - You already know your way around delicate components and screwdrivers. This is that, at scale, for pay.
- Musicians who play fast instruments - Drummers, guitarists, pianists. Precision hand work is your baseline.
- Racket sport athletes, table tennis players, competitive dart or pool players - Hand-eye coordination is your language.
- Model builders, jewelry makers, watch repair hobbyists, tabletop miniature painters - Fine motor precision is your native mode.
- Anyone who's worked in machining, dental assisting, assembly line manufacturing, or any trade requiring steady hands - Direct transfer.
You don't need to have any of these backgrounds to apply. But if you do, this job will feel more natural than you'd expect from the words "warehouse associate."
What We Need From You
- Ability to lift 45+ lbs repeatedly throughout an 8-hour shift. This work is physical and on your feet. Gaming, precision hobbies, and hand-eye coordination don't change that - you still need to be able to move heavy equipment all day. If lifting is a concern, this isn't the right role.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality. Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM. Overtime available and paid at time-and-a-half when we need it.
- Ability to follow detailed processes exactly. We have SOPs for everything. Following them precisely is non-negotiable - the equipment is too expensive for shortcuts.
- Comfort in a bilingual (English/Spanish) team environment. Speaking Spanish is a plus but not required.
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
What We Don't Need
- No prior warehouse experience required
- No Bitcoin or crypto knowledge required (though curiosity is welcome)
- No degrees or certifications required
- No forklift certification needed to start (we can help you get certified if you're interested)
Compensation and Growth
- Starting pay: $12-$17 / hour, based on experience
- Benefits:Full medical, dental, and vision coverage after 90 days
- Paid time off eligible after 90 days
- Performance bonuses
- ACS provides: All tools, PPE, and branded uniforms
Real growth path: Strong warehouse associates can move into our **Data Center Technician Apprenticeship** - a 12-month program that pays $17-$23/hour during apprenticeship and graduates to a $72,000/year salary. Multiple current field techs at ACS started right here on the warehouse floor.
What the Hiring Process Looks Like
1. Quick online application with a short questionnaire (5 minutes)
2. Facility tour at our Carrollton location - see the work, meet the team, decide if it's the right fit for you
3. Brief individual conversation with our HR lead
4. Background check
5. Offer
Most candidates move from application to offer in about 10 business days.
