Apprentice Plumber (Active Plumbing Apprentice Registration Required)

Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated Apprentice Plumber to join our growing residential service team. Applicants must possess a current Plumbing Apprentice registration/license in the state of Texas at the time of hire. This position works alongside licensed plumbers to diagnose, repair, and install residential plumbing systems while developing hands-on trade experience.

The ideal candidate is dependable, eager to learn, customer-focused, and interested in building a long-term career in the plumbing industry.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • Assist licensed plumbers with residential plumbing repairs, maintenance, and installations.
  • Support the repair and replacement of water heaters, plumbing fixtures, faucets, toilets, garbage disposals, and other plumbing equipment.
  • Assist with drain cleaning, sewer line repairs, water line repairs, gas line work, slab leak repairs, and line locating.
  • Help diagnose plumbing issues and prepare job sites for service and installation work.
  • Relight gas appliances and verify proper operation following gas service restoration.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all times.
  • Provide professional and courteous customer service while working in customers' homes.
  • Ensure work is completed in compliance with company standards and applicable plumbing codes.
  • Maintain company vehicles, tools, and equipment in proper working condition.
  • Complete required paperwork, job documentation, and mobile app updates accurately and timely.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
  • Current Texas Plumbing Apprentice Registration is required.
  • Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
  • Ability to pass a background check and drug screening, where permitted by law.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and work in confined spaces, attics, crawl spaces, and outdoor environments.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Reliable attendance and a positive, team-oriented attitude.
  • Desire to learn and grow within the plumbing trade.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous plumbing, construction, mechanical, HVAC, or trade experience.
  • Experience using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
