Job Description: BPRM Group, and premier brand Leaf California, are seeking Cannabis Cultivation Gardeners to join our dynamic and diverse team. Our mission is to deliver paramount performance in our product, using sustainable energy and utility methods in our state-of-the-art facility, located in Sacramento, CA. The successful candidate will be an engaged apprentice with a positive attitude who will undertake the responsibility of guiding our plants from infancy to harvest. In addition to day-to-day plant care, our focus is on running an efficient, high quality production while maintaining organization, safety, and cleanliness. Consistently turning out some of the highest ranked product, Leaf California continues to be recognized for their unparalleled commitment to innovative cultivation processes and superb plant production. Job Responsibilities: 50.00% - Core Job Responsibilities
Plant Care & Processes:
• Grow, harvest and produce consistent large volumes of superior quality cannabis crops
• In accordance with current SOPs, follow proper planting and care, growing production processes, and schedules
• Monitor all aspects of growing including fertilization, watering, muffing, netting, weaving, pruning, topping, trimming, and pest inspection as needed to promote optimal plant health
• Monitor inventory of plant nutrients, and disease control chemicals
• Perform soil, water and disease tests as needed
• Identify, track, and control insects in conjunction with company Integrated Pest Management (IPM) protocols
• Move plants in an orderly, time efficient manner from one area of the cultivation facility to another
• Move soil for transplanting plants
• Transplant smaller plants into bigger pots
• Assist in harvesting plants in an orderly time efficient manner
• Bucking wet or dry plants after harvest
Reports and Documentation:
• Keep detailed notes and assist in operational systems, analyze data to inform operational decisions
• Maintain accurate crop activity records and observations, including pesticide applications and growth records
• Ensure accurate documentation of all plant tracking numbers, lot numbers, and all other applicable information
• Assist in production planning and provide feedback on growing times with senior cultivators and other personnel
Quality Control:
• Identify and implement methods and practices to achieve operational improvements in efficiency and quality
• Develop basic knowledge of strain characteristics and identify problems with the plants
• Promote a culture of world class performance and continuous improvement that values learning and a commitment to quality
Safety and Performance:
• Responsibility for the performance of the shift, including safety, quality, and productivity
• Maintain safety programs and other aspects of regulatory compliance
• Maintain the proper tools and equipment required to perform the job effectively and safely
Facility Care and Cleaning:
• Maintain workspaces and production areas to ensure compliance with company quality and sanitation standards
• Ensure a clean and safe cultivation facility, including the safe disposal of waste
Be a Team Player:
• Exhibit eagerness and passion to develop your knowledge
• Stay on task and work well with coworkers to monitor environment
• Work closely with and communicate effectively with all team leaders, management, and employees

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Skills, Expertise, and Education - Skills, Experience and Education:
• HS Graduate or Diploma
• Basic knowledge of cannabis
• Gardening or agricultural experience helpful
• Growing experience preferable, but will train the right individual who demonstrates a passionate interest
• Any formal education in agriculture, horticulture, or social science is beneficial
Physical Requirements: Working Environment:

• Requires agility, physical fitness and health necessary to perform manual labor tasks required for the proper management of indoor cultivation
• Ability to work in varying temperatures including high humidity and tight spaces
• Noise level and working environment can be loud

• You are willing to participate in a background check
• You are honest, trustworthy, have a strong work ethic, able to work weekends• You have reliable transportation
